At the age of five, my first lesson involved watercolour paint. Growing up with my grandmother and great-grandmother, they specialized in traditional arts. Still maintaining that passion for art, during grade school and leading into post-secondary education. Now a passion I carry with me and use everyday in my professional and maker’s life.
I use many different mediums, such as watercolour and acrylics. I do most of my watercolour on art paper creating landscapes and portraits. My Acrylic work is mostly Paris, Café and wine paintings. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. Therefore, I am always creating new things with a variety of mediums.
I enjoy reading my romance fiction novels that are based in the 1800s — 1950s in Europe about fashion, love and mystery. I also love a good cup of coffee in a local café, daydreaming about Paris and watching Outlander. Hiking in my spare time is always good to get my creative juices flowing. Being creative is a daily for me, whether it's in my outfit, my other business or discussing creative ideas. I am always inspired to be creative.
